Models of Classroom Organisation
As part of the workshop sessions held in February, groups of teachers looked at a variety of ways in which classrooms could be organised conducive to Active Learning.
Four different models were explored, focusing on what the classroom would look like and how the learning and teaching could be managed. None of the models were presented as the “ideal” but teachers were made aware of the possible pitfalls in each example. All of the models are workable, as long as the possible dangers are addressed
