AUTUMN FAIR SUCCESS September 22, 2008
Posted by llissaman in : PTA, Whole School Events , add a commentThis year’s Autumn Fair, held on 20th September, was a resounding success and raised over £2,700 in 2 hours. As usual the event was amazingly well supported by parents and residents in the village who donated goods, made preserves & cakes and came along to enjoy the afternoon. The Fair’s success is a result of lots of hard work by the PTA as well as parent & teacher helpers: a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped, beforehand, on the day and indeed afterwards. Special thanks are also due to the the teachers and pupils for their posters, the wonderful crafts and, of course, the enormously popular activities organised by the P7s. Well done everyone for yet another great Autumn Fair.
Sports Day Refreshments June 11, 2008

All donations of home baking gratefully received - please bring your baking along just before the start of the event or hand to a member of the PTA that morning/day before. We are delighted that, this year, the BBQ will be run by Gosford Bothy Farm Shop - a great chance to try their top quality burgers & sausages. Veggie Burgers will also be available.
Beetle Drive May 11, 2008
Posted by Miss Howat in : PTA, Whole School Events , 2commentsThe PTA organised a highly successful Beetle Drive at the school on Friday 9th May. It was a fun filled evening with many parents, relatives and children taking part. Everyone who attended enjoyed the event so much that we have decided to hold another one next year. Thank you to Sharon Douglas, the Chair of the PTA and all members of the PTA for all their hard work. Thank you also to Miss Curran for her help in ensuring that the event ran smoothly between games. Miss Curran also had the important job of ensuring that all winning beetles had six legs!
Well done to our winners who appear in one of the photos, they had a huge score of 129!

On Friday 29th February at 7.00-9.00pm Aberlady PTA is having a ceilidh to raise money for the PTA. A family ticket costs £7.50.You can buy the tickets from the school office or a PTA member.The music is by Lismore Ceilidh Band (including our very own Mrs Black!) Bring along your own food and drink.
Summer House November 2, 2007

Come and look at the new summer house and we give thanks to P.T.A., the builders and the school for allowing the summerhouse to be built.

You helped to raise funds which will be used to support the work we do within the school as well as providing a great deal of fun and entertainment for the local community.
