Primary 6 and 7 want YOUR vote! December 10, 2008

Posted by Miss Howat in : Primary 6, Primary 7, Whole School Events , 2comments

Primary 6 and 7 have been studying the topic of Local and National Government this term. As part of this topic we decided on issues that we would like to campaign for in order to improve our school and community. We then formed parties and were given a critical skills challenge. Each of us has a clear role within our parties and we have been advertising and campaiging in order to win the whole school election. This is taking place on Tuesday 16th December after our Hustings.

The winning party in the election will get to take their issue forward and our classes will work on this as an enterprise project next term. You can find the Party Political Broadcasts from each party below, this will help you to decide who to vote for.

P6  learned this French song recently and they decided to record it for you so you can learn it too. You will see from the photo that the bridge only goes half way across the river. Who can remember why that is?

Our Primary 6 and 7 Netball team attended their first tournament at Dunbar Grammar last night. They have only been playing together in Netball Club for 3 weeks however they worked well as a team and managed to score many baskets. Well done girls!
