VCOP: Super Sentences March 18, 2010

Posted by aberladywebclub in : Primary 5/6, Uncategorized , trackback

P5/6 are working hard to improve our writing by using the VCOP approach. We have been thinking about how we use Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation.

Our language homework has concentrated on improving vocabulary and description by using adjectives, adverbs, similes and metaphors.

Today, we made some super sentences using our Super Sentence Makers.

Ross wrote: “It was a formidable challenge for the team to climb Mount Everest and their faces turned red in the cold”. Georgie wrote: “Daffodils are beautiful yellow flowers and they also bring joy”. Jamie wrote: “The green alien quietly entered the room and drank a can of Coke because he was thirsty”.
