Web club is like spys reporting achievements of the class they are representing for the year.

They have both won prizes in The Family Drawing Competition run by Scotland’s Learning Partnership. The competition was run to encourage families from all over Scotland to be creative together and to learn new things as part of Family Learning Week 2009. John and his Mum drew sketches connected with cooking and baking, their favourite hobby which they do together. Those cup cakes looked delicious, John! Georgie and her Grandad drew pictures of their pets, a fish and a kitten. Both families have won family art kits and have been invited to an award ceremony at Glasgow’s Science Centre. Their work will be part of a touring exhibition and will be displayed on Scotland’s Learning Partnership website. Well done to John and Georgie!!

Rich or poor, black or white,
Discrimination is never right.
Think of the cultures we would never see,

We are born, we cannot choose,

They’re small, they’re tall, they’re in-between,
They’re young, they’re old, maybe thirteen.
They’re French, they’re Greek, they’re Asian too,
They’re all the same, like me and you.
They’re rich, they’re poor, they’re fat, they’re thin,
It doesn’t matter the colour of their skin.
