Preferred Candidate for Acting HT

Following interviews this afternoon a preferred candidate has now been selected as Acting Head Teacher.  Mr Lavery has been selected as the preferred candidate and will start as Acting Head Teacher from 9 January 2012.  I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his appointment and look forward to  being able to share with him the many wonderful things about our school.

    Thank you for these kind words Miss McKinnon. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone in January, when I join the team at Athelstaneford. I have been looking at the website to get a feel of what has been happening in the school and am really excited about the journey you have been on. I hope all pupils, staff and families had a great Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
