Friends of Gullane is a group for 11-18 year olds who are interested in the outdoors and want to learn more about it. Whilst in this group, members will have the opportunity to undertake:
Practical Work such as step and path maintenance, ditch creation and generally tidying up.
Habitat Management such as sea buckthorn removal, assisting with wetland maintenance and grassland management.
Ecological Surveying such as botanical monitoring, bird surveying and butterfly transects.
There will also be an opportunity for members to complete aspects of their Duke of Edinburgh Award with this group, and a chance to undertake their John Muir Award and work towards their Saltire Awards.
