Today we made bird cake to feed the birds in this cold weather. We used bird seed, cheese, bread and lard. We are going to take them home and watch what birds eat it. We will write down all the birds we see and bring all the information back in to school after the holidays. Mrs Munro will help us make a chart to show all the birds that visit our gardens.
Thank you for the bird cake. It was devoured by our hungry birds in almost one go! They loved it and we had fun watching them eating it. Harry is enjoying recording the birds on the sheet and is looking forward to sharing his findings after half term.
